Novena Prayer

God our Father,

You created us and in baptism You called us to be Your people.

Grant courage to those You are calling
to the priesthood, diaconate,
religious and consecrated life.
Guide those who are discerning their vocation.
Bless the love of husband and wife
and help all parents
to be open to Your will for their children.

Make us generous in responding to You
and help us to see that true happiness
is found in Your will alone.
Through Christ our Lord.
Amen.

Novena Prayer for Children

God our Father,
You created us, love us
and call us to follow You.
Help those You are calling to follow You
as priests or nuns
or in some other special way.
Give them wisdom,
courage and strength.
Help those who look after us
to show us Your love.
May we follow You with all our hearts,
so that we may always be truly happy.
Through Christ our Lord.
Amen.
